Please read thoroughly, we want you to get what you are expecting. This listing is for opuntia prickly pear cactus pads. We will cut cactus up for shipping purposes, but if un- rooted cuttings are desired, write us a message, and efforts will then made to cut at the node, so the cuttings can then be easily propagated. When sold as cuttings, the pads will be cut from a mother plant, and will have no roots.
These plants can be fed to herbivorous animals that eat prickly pear cactus. Do your research regarding whether or not your pet can eat opuntias. We do not provide advice about cactus consumption. Although we do not pay the taxes necessary claim that the cactus pads are organic, they require absolutely no chemicals or other care, and are left entirely alone until the day you order.
Although these are spineless cactus pads, please be aware that glochids will be present. Glochids are are hair-like spines or short prickles, generally barbed, found on the areoles of cacti in all Opuntioideaes (prickly pear cactus). It doesn't bother your tort, but you will not enjoy touching these glochoids. Handle with care.
All orders from this listing will have tracking. Cactus pads may be "ugly" as the pads are shipped as fodder, but we are very willing to send more aesthetically pleasing cactus pads, simply attach a message to your order.
