Dill - Bouquet ! Anethum graveolens These SEEDS grow the best herb!
Seed coverage: 100 seeds per square foot
Annual Earlier blooming than Mammoth dill, Bouquet dill has large seed umbels and dark-green foliage. Dill provides a great beneficial-insect habitat in the garden and can reseed prolifically. Dill is used in many pickling recipes as well as in seafood, soups, sauces, and potatoes.
Soil & Water: Dill grows well in rich, well-drained soils, but can grow in very marginal soils. It prefers full sun and heavy water. If it likes where it is, it can reseed prolifically.
Planting & Growing: Sow seeds directly after the last frost. Dill has a naturally low germination rate; 60% is typical. Seeds can be started indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost, but dill does not like to be transplanted. It's best left alone once established.
