Black Beauty Zucchini Seeds
The bush-type plants are very productive.
Although you can use the squash at just about any point, we start picking fruits when they are about six to eight inches long by two inches in diameter and dark green in color. They are best when harvested at a young and tender stage, around 6-8 inches. They are excellent lightly steamed, sautéed, or stir-fried.
Sow seeds directly in the garden in warm garden soil in full sun after last expected frost. Be sure to choose an area when you did not plant squash or related crops within 2 years. Sow 1-2 seeds about 36 inches apart. Cover with 1 inch well draining, fine soil.
